Turmeric Shots
This recipe is used to: improve circulation and prevent arteriosclerosis, promote proper liver function, help reduce blood glucose levels (advised for diabetics), promote the elimination of toxins, antioxidant, antibiotic, antifungal, anti- inflammation, improve the immune system, prevent cancer, and promote a healthy digestive system.
Ingredients:
- 2 oranges
- 2 lemons
- 80g fresh turmeric
- 40g ginger (can be fresh or candied ginger )
- Half a glass of water
- 1 pinch of black pepper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil ( coconut oil can be substituted)
- honey to taste
Preparation
- Squeeze the juice from the oranges and lemons
- Peel the turmeric and ginger and cut into small pieces (you can also leave it with the peel if you prefer)
- Blend all ingredients
- Pass the mixture through a strainer
- Serve or keep in the refrigerator up to 4 days
