Ingredients:
- 2 bunches of chard (without stem)
- 3 cups of water
- 4 eggs
- 2 tablespoons of coconut oil
- ½ chopped onion
- 1 minced garlic clove
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
- ¼ teaspoon paprika
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- 3 tablespoons of coconut oil
Preparation
- Wash the chard and chop.
- Put 3 cups of water with 1 teaspoon of salt in a pot and cook the chard.
- When the chard is cooked, it is put in a colander and when it is empty of water, it is returned to the pot.
- In a pan, fry the onion and garlic with 2 tablespoons of coconut oil.
- Add the onion, garlic, pepper, salt and paprika and the eggs to the chard. Everything stirs well.
- In a frying pan, heat 3 tablespoons of oil. When the oil is very hot, cook the chard and leave it until golden on one side.
- A flat lid is placed on top of the frying pan and the cake is turned over to cook and brown on the other side.
- It is cut in the middle crosswise so that it cooks well inside. He turns around again and that's it.
TIP: The leek cake is the same, except that since the leek is very strong, neither garlic nor onion is added. Just everything else.
